Cheap Makeup Vs Expensive Makeup

Just been seeing this low end aka drugstore makeup vs hi end makeup everywhere for a while now and thought I'd weigh in.  With many years of experience in the beauty industry,  I can honestly say I have seen it all! First, the people who choose to do these types of comparisons are not makeup artists!  To begin with, which makeup artist stock there kits with drugstore aka cheap makeup? And why is it that they choose the higher end makeups to use on there clientele? It's because the results from using low end makeups are not guaranteed! Any makeup artist will tell you, cheap makeups are ineffective and they do not last as long! Think about it, they are cheap for a reason- they are made with cheaper, lower quality ingredients which makes them incapable of lasting up to 8hrs on the skin plus they do not feel great on the skin and, in most cases they contain higher levels of chemicals due to the lack of better quality ingredients.  Dont you ever ask questions and say to yourself, why are these makeups so cheap? I hear people say all the time- they look the same when applied, the cheap mascara is just as good as the expensive one, well, a lot of the people who do this experiments do not follow thru to the end because cheap face makeups do melt off in less than an hour or two and as for the mascaras, they start to flake also! I'm not saying all expensive makeup are worth the price but what I am saying is,  you must know what you are paying for.  Is it paraben free, is it hypo allergenic, is it free of allergens, also, is it non comedogenic, does it have enough colour pigment on the skin.  Lastly, where is it made! All these qualities are worth every penny and plus, your health will thank you for it and your skin too because much of what you put on your skin gets absorbed into your bloodstream.  Haven't you ever worn makeup and wonder why your skin changed? Lets say all of a sudden your skin started getting really oily? Well, don't you think its the low quality ingredients in the makeup you have been using? While you think you saved money on your cheap makeup for the time being, it will end up costing you more in the long run.  Not only will you end up buying more makeup because you can't get much use out of them, it will cost you your time to keep reapplying them. So when you buy that cheap powder from the drug store for $15 and you think you've gotten yourself a good deal and you say why go and buy the Bougiee one?  Think again my darlin'!!
