Concealer Woes

Concealers! You know that product you use to hide extra imperfections to prevent over doing your foundation? Yes, that product! That is the focus of our blog because we noticed a trend in beauty that is rather wierd where people have forgotten what a concealer is.  Though there are no rules to makeup but some are just cardinal sins. The sin in question here is the fact that concealers are now seen as an under eye brightener and we dont know how to feel about that. Yes one can do what they want but one cant also ignore the fact that every youtuber and instagrammer are overdoing the foundation.  Although we have the almighty drag queens to thank for that, we also have to advise that while a drag- a man can pull off this look, a woman cant really pull off the excess makeup coverage because it shows more due to lack of wig and other accessories to accentuate the look like a drag queen would.  Also, one need to be aware that, if you step out of the house, there are no filters to hide the extra foundation hence, people will notice that the makeup was totally caked on.  That beng said, a light foundaiton coverage is ideal for day wear followed by a concealer to conceal the extra dark spot one might have on the face.
