Foundation Stick

Have you seen what we see in beauty lately? Foundation sticks! They are all the rage and everybody from drag queens, especially the drag queens and youtubers are so into them. So what are foundation sticks? They are creamy foundation makeup in a stick. The stick swivels up and down to control the product and they are very portable and versatile at the same time also easy to carry. Though they are mainly a cover up stick- in 2019 these sticks have gotten a new usage- contouring sticks.  Many of the foundation sticks available are marketed as foundation sticks, as they should be, but, due to the portability of these products, they seem easier to use for contouring and highlighting (with the lighter shades) for many people, majority of which are new to makeup or just getting into it. One can credit this to the drag queens especially since they use this in almost all the videos that they create. We have to admit, it is very hard to watch a drag queen video without seeing a foundation stick being used. Though not new either, the sticks have been around for a very long time as far as creamy textured makeup is concerned, its just lately that it seems the product has caught on due to the contouring trend as well.  If we may be totally honest, we have that man mentality from the drag queens to thank for this! It seems the man brain always gear more towards anything that's simple! Simple and easy to use, which in this case, the sticks are! The foundation sticks are a no fuss, no mess, no stress, easy to carry, on-the-go, no drama, easy to use stick anyone can carry in there purse or bag and use anytime they want without worrying about an applicator or even a mirror and did we mention they are easy to blend too??
