With their concentration and preciousness, these extracts encapsulate the true essence of Guerlain's legacy. Each fragrance from Les Extraits Signature is made to reveal the divine golden ratio of its signature ingredient.

ROSE CENTIFOLIA EXTRAIT 1

Rose Centifolia Extrait 1, a floral and woody fragrance, is Guerlain's revelation of the true essence of the rose in its most exquisite olfactory expression. This fragrance showcases the remarkable strength of the rose, intensified by an opulent concentration of 30%.
Guerlain perfumers Thierry Wasser and Delphine Jelk celebrate the queen of flowers by accentuating its powerful facets, the distinctive spicy and honeyed notes of rose absolute, harmoniously blended with hints of incense and patchouli.

At the inception of Guerlain, the Centifolia rose reigned supreme. Since its founding, Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, the House's founder, has sourced roses from Grasse for nearly 200 years. This local rose variety, characterized by its rich and fruity fragrance, has remained an essential element in Guerlain's perfumery legacy.

IRIS PALLIDA EXTRAIT 6

Iris Pallida Extrait, elegant, powdery and woody, is a tribute to the refined beauty of the iris in its most concentrated form. This fragrance is a celebration of Guerlain's artistry, featuring a 30% concentration of precious iris butter, resulting in an intense and velvety softness.
The perfumers have enhanced the inherent powdery quality of iris by introducing delightful almond and musky notes. The powdery softness is further emphasized by a touch of white suede, with a heart of creamy sandalwood.

The iris has been a hallmark of Guerlain since 1906, famously featured in iconic fragrances like L'Heure Bleue in 1912.

BERGAMOTE FANTASTICO EXTRAIT 11

Guerlain's Bergamote Fantastico Extrait 11 offers a vibrant and intense citrus signature, with top notes derived from essence, radiating the freshness of bergamot and the richness of an amber trail reminiscent of a classic Guerlain perfume. This concentration reaches 30%.

Since 1853, Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain selected bergamot to infuse vibrant freshness into his Imperial Eau de Cologne. This iconic and zesty signature, presented to Empress Eugenie on her wedding day, marked the ascent of Guerlain to the esteemed position of Official Perfumer at the Court. 

VANILLE PLANIFOLIA EXTRAIT 21

JASMIN GRANDIFLORUM EXTRAIT 30

Jasmin Grandiflorum Extrait 30 unveils a truly radiant signature of jasmine flowers. It captures an essence that dazzles with luminosity, with an ultimate concentration of 30%.

This Grandiflorum jasmine is enriched to perfection, with over-the-top indulgence in candied strawberry notes, complemented by the creamy essence of sandalwood. For the first time at Guerlain, this core of jasmine highlights two pioneering techniques: CO2 extraction and "micro liquid" extraction.

The significance of Extrait 30 lies in the recognition of the golden number for Guerlain's jasmine. Always at the forefront of innovation, Guerlain Perfumers have chosen a low-temperature CO₂ extraction at 30°C*. This process captures the intoxicating floral and fruity essence of the Grandiflorum jasmine.

The Art of Jasmine at Guerlain is a legacy rooted in tradition. Inherited from Pierre-François-Pascal Guerlain, the founder of the House, the secret of "Communelle" entails blending various origins and harvests, ensuring consistent exceptional quality over time.

TONKA SARRAPIA EXTRAIT 75

Tonka Sarrapia Extrait 75 is an ambery and spicy fragrance that reveals an irresistibly addictive signature. Laden with natural tonka and a touch of coumarin, this fragrance is an ultimate concentration of 30%.

Guerlain perfumers heightened the almond facet of the tonka bean, enriching it with bitter almond essence and a minute dose of coumarin. The tonka bean takes on a fiery transformation when it encounters vanilla, cocoa, and warm spices.

Originating from the Sarrapia tree, the tonka bean is renowned for its high coumarin content, up to 75%, which imparts its distinctive almond note. Since 1889, Guerlain has employed this molecule in microdoses to enhance the tonka bean, multiplying its potency and delectation manifold.
Coumarin, naturally present in the Tonka bean, was first employed by Guerlain in 1889. Aimé Guerlain used this synthetic molecule in creating Jicky, bolstering the natural olfactory prowess of the Tonka bean and accentuating its indulgence. 

Inspired by Guerlain's historic Square Bottle from 1870, the L'Art et la Matière bottles now shines in gold for Les Extraits Signature. Created by Pochet du Courval, the Maison's historic glassmaker, this bottle is of a contemporary design and can be refilled at select Guerlain boutiques.
