Matte Liquid Lipsticks

The word "matte liquid lipstick" in makeup now sound so cheap! This is the year 2016 and matte liquid lipsticks are everywhere! The matte lip makeup is still a big trend, granted that matte lipsticks were out of style in the 00's when everyone preferred gloss but now it seem it came back and soon might be on its way out!  Just like anything thats in trend, people do get tired and move on to something else simply because trends do come and go and I for one cannot name a trend that didn't go away and stand the test of time!  I think I speak for all makeup aficionados when I say the return of matte lipsticks was a celebration after all the years of being hiatus and plus, not only did it come back with more versatility and not as drying as it once was back in the day but now with the new formula called matte liquid lipsticks which is great because makeup got a new addition. Makeup definitely needs new additions and new creations in order to keep evolving but for the fact that when it comes to these matte liquid lipsticks, these days, people only expect it to be cheap,  when it comes to the word people don't even expect it to be above a certain price range not even minding the formula, is just disturbing! Just like we can't just have only cheap lipsticks, we need different formulas, same here! Perhaps thats why the lipstick still remain one of makeups most coveted categories. The word "matte liquid lipstick" is now so cheap and immediately associated with mass produced makeup and one can only wonder if there is any hope for makeups new addition! Its seriously looking like it might not be around to stand the test of time!
